Venting...venting...

Some people are so spiritually blind...and they will stay that way unless God reveals the truth to them.

Sometimes I am disgusted with humanity, especially my own generation - Millennials, who else? Though I suppose I should be more understanding. They have been systematically brainwashed by pop culture, after all.

In this day and age, being (genuinely) Christian means being a radical and independent free thinker...oddly enough.

Militant feminism has turned many of my fellow females into plastic whores, imitations of what they see on television, including the obnoxious vocal fry and upspeak trends. Modest women are an endangered kind. Postmodern culture is shameful, and lately I've been bitter.

"Be yourself," right?

However, I must not forget that I used to be in darkness as well; I thought mocking Christ was cool, and I was proud of my "open mindedness," which was actually nothing more than leftism. Also, I dabbled in the occult and listened to dark, disturbing music - Linkin Park, Evanescence, Snoop Dogg, Eminem - how lost I was! Yet God saved me.

Most of my peers are victims of this Satanic culture...willing victims, perhaps, but I used to be just like them, so I must have patience and understanding.

After becoming a Christian, people dismissed me as odd and brainwashed, but I don't mind enduring derision for the sake of Christ. Hatred from the world is in fact a compliment. Besides, I hate the world in return, so the feeling is mutual.

To be more specific, I hate the evil in the world...the darkness, indulgence, and cynicism of postmodern society.
