Politics and religion

For quite awhile I didn't think much about politics. The negativity of political arguments made me want to avoid such discussions. Also, I am loyal to God above any man made system.

However, recent events have caused me and the rest of the world to focus on politics again. Politics affect every aspect of life, so the least we can do as responsible citizens is consider the issues and choose a side. This used to be a given, but a generation of apathetic, weak minded people has neglected civic responsibility and contributed greatly toward the impending destruction of the nation.

In high school, despite the brainwashed education I received, I reasoned that (Scandinavian style) socialism is a better system than (American style) capitalism. The strong conservative bent most American Christians have confuses me, because I can't imagine Christ being a predatory capitalist. Regardless, I still pray for God to bless the patriots, keep them safe, and increase their numbers, because they are the only ones standing against the impending New World Order...which they believe to be socialistic, but is actually a technocratic dictatorship.

One of the most pertinent issues we face these days is technocrime: social media censorship, suppression of free speech through algorithm manipulation, and clandestine collection of personal information. People's Internet activity reveals much about them....When Satan takes full control of the world, perhaps through the Antichrist, my Internet activity will reveal that I am a Christian and, for lack of a better term, a conspiracy theorist...which won't bode well for me. Satan and his minions hate all Christians, but especially ones who are aware of his schemes. Even now, authorities keep people like me on a watch list.

Compared to the government and its tentacle, the giant propaganda machine known as the media, discerning Christians are a small, politically powerless, censored minority. Yet our influence is growing regardless, as many people are seeking the truth about all of the insane events happening in the world. Thankfully, most people aren't evil, though the ones in power certainly are.

True and false love

False love is the worst form of hypocrisy, and is so common.

False love is all about manipulation and self promotion; in contrast, real love isn't about self at all.

God isn't impressed by looks, intelligence, talent, or pious works done with the secret intention to gain praise. Real love doesn't shout, "Look at ME!" Yet I sense "look at ME" motives in many professing Christians, particularly worship leaders.

True Christianity is founded upon humility.

Freedom

A paradox of the Christian life is that we find freedom by submitting to God's will.

We all live under authority of some sort; if we try to live by our own authority, we end up enslaved to sin.

But God is the ultimate authority -- not the State.
